FREE PROJECT CONSULTATION

You do not need a finished plan.

Have a remodeling project in mind, but not all the answers? Start with a free project consultation. Talk with John about what is not working, the changes you want and a sensible next step.

No charge for this initial visit or conversation. John confirms access and scope with you; any paid work needs a separate agreement.

Stick & Stone approaches remodeling as a whole project, with John as your main point of contact. Kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and finishing details can be discussed together so the scope reflects how the spaces connect.

01

Start with the problem, then the possibilities.

Is storage tight? Does the layout get in the way? Are surfaces worn, or does the room no longer fit your routine? Explain what you want to improve before settling on a finish or a particular solution.

02

One room or several connected changes.

A focused refresh and a broader remodel need different conversations. Identify the rooms involved and the changes you consider essential. Flooring, doors and finish carpentry can affect more than one room; include those connections early.

03

Understand the work behind the finishes.

Layout changes can involve more than cabinets and surfaces. Discuss whether plumbing, electrical or other specialist work is needed, who will carry it out, and how it will be coordinated. John works with tradespeople he knows when the scope needs their expertise.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Your questions, answered.

Do I need a finished design to start?

No. A list of frustrations, priorities and a few reference images is enough for an initial conversation. Explain what you like about the references rather than trying to specify every product.

Can I plan more than one room?

Yes. The planner includes a home remodel or multiple-room starting point. Kitchen and bathroom ideas can be saved separately and carried into your brief.

Can we discuss a budget before selecting everything?

Yes. Tell John if you have a target or are still exploring. Any early range needs to be discussed in the context of scope and the information available, before a detailed proposal.

Can I stay in the home during a remodel?

Discuss this for your particular project. Access to the kitchen or bathroom, dust, work areas and the sequence of work all belong in the planning conversation.
