GENERAL CONTRACTING · ROOFING & REMODELING

A CONVERSATION FIRST

Good work starts
with a clear plan.

Begin with an idea. Work through what matters. Make the scope clear before committing to the work.

01

Explore your possibilities.

Choose a project in the planner. Compare the illustrative models or continue with an open mind. Add your starting point, timing and priorities, then review the brief. The planner does not measure your home, diagnose a problem or calculate a price.

02

Talk through scope and budget.

Use your ideas as a starting point with John. Explain the changes you need, what is flexible and any constraints. You can begin without a settled budget; discuss what information is needed to talk about a useful range.

03

Arrange a visit when the direction fits.

Agree on a visit so John can assess the actual conditions. A preferred date is a request until you and John confirm it. Bring questions about the existing work, products, access and connected trades.

04

Review the written proposal.

Confirm the included work, exclusions, materials, responsibilities and finishing details. For roofing, review the 20-year roofing workmanship warranty and its written terms separately from any product warranty. Discuss warranties for other project types as part of their own scope. Ask how changes, timing and payments will be handled. A visual choice or project brief is not an order or a construction agreement.

A useful first conversation, at no charge.

Request a free roof inspection, exterior assessment or remodeling consultation from the relevant service page. John confirms the location, access and next step with you. Any paid work needs a separate agreement.

FROM AN IDEA TO A CONVERSATION
